My best friend recently had a baby(about 6 weeks ago). I have been watching diaper prices and keeping an eye out on deals. The other day I was at my local Piggly Wiggly and they had a cart full of Huggies Snug & Dry diapers on sale(I didn’t have my coupons with me…. I know Shame on me).
This morning I went back and they still had them $6.39 per pack. I picked up 4 packs of size 3 Snug & Dry 34 ct Diapers.
$6.39 per pack x 4= $25.56
Using 4/$2 off 1/ Huggies Coupon( from coupons.com) = $4.39 per pack =$17.56 for 136 diapers.
which broke down to .13 cents per diaper.
(I asked a friend who runs a couponing page what her stock up price for diapers is and she said .10 – . 15 cents per diaper)
I also went to our local Bent & Dent store yesterday looking for a few things and found a box of Luvs-Size 2 108ct diapers for $15.00 (.13 cents per diaper which is definitly in stock up price range so I picked those up as well)
And the final deal since her and I ran to Walmart anyways, 2 packs of Huggies Little Snugglers Size 1 – 35Ct.
$8.96 per pack
Used 2/$3 off Huggies Coupon(coupons.com)
$5.96 x 2 = 11.92= .17 cents per diaper which is a little above stock up price but still under .20 cents per diaper.
So a total of 314 diapers ranging in sizes for a total of $44.48 break that down into stock up prices and its .14 cents each.
Over all I would say it was a successful day of helping a friend stockpile on some diapers. My goal is to help her stock pile as many diapers as shes going to need for him, while saving her money. I’m by no means a HUGE couponer, but every little bit of money saved is a WIN in the long run.
